Field Notes: Computer and technology reference materials along with current news articles for the technologicly inclined can be found using O'Reilly's reference search.O'Reilly is a highly respected and regarded publisher of in-depth and comprehensive books and this feature is worth checking out.

Another fun topic to discover is "computer geek speak". The Jargon File is available online in a searchable format. Along with this is NetLingo which has definitions for abbreviations often found in newsgroups and email, it also has an emoticon dictionary.

TechEncyclopedia is a free terminological guide, along with the Free Online Dictionary of Computing you shoudl be able to find a good description of any computer related term in existence.
