IPEDS College Opportunities On-Line sponsored by the National Center of Education Statistics is a link to nearly 7,000 colleges and universities in the United States. If you are thinking about a large university, a small liberal arts college, a specialized college, a community college, a career or technical college or a trade school, you can find them here by instructional program, size and geographic area.

ACT Assessment
This test is designed to assess high school students' general educational development and their ability to complete college-level work. The tests cover four skill areas: English, mathematics, reading, and science reasoning. Most Midwestern state colleges and universities require students to take this examination.
