Education-related resources from many federal government agencies. Education and Outreach provides links for teachers and scholars to a variety of scientific, historical, and social subjects of the vast number of projects carried out or sponsored by the Smithsonian Institution.

MarcoPolo: Internet Content for the Classroom is a consortium of several national education organizations, state education agencies and the MarcoPolo Education Foundation dedicated to providing the highest quality Internet content and professional development to teachers and students throughout the United States. It is a wonderful site to find lesson plans in the arts, economics, mathematics, humanities, geography, reading/language arts and sciences in K-12 grade levels.

National Archives: The Digital Classroom
