A division of the National Center for Lesbian Rights that focuses on providing legal assistance to GLBT family members including issues of adoption, custody rights, civil unions and partnerships.

Family Net
Family Net is a new site being built by Human Resouces Campaign (HRC) along with many other national gay & lesbian organizations.  It's pretty early in the development of the site, but it has great potential to pull together in one place information on a wide variety of gay-related topics.  Worth watching.

Gay & Lesbian National Hotline
Provides a toll-free nationwide phone service to those seeking peer-counseling.

LGAIN: Lesbian & Gay Aging Issues Network (part of the ASA: American Society on Aging)
The Lesbian and Gay Aging Issues Network (LGAIN), a constituent group works to raise awareness about the special challenges that lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) elders face as they age, and about the unique barriers these often invisible populations encounter in gaining access to housing, healthcare, long-term care and social services. The American Society on Aging (ASA) is the country's largest professional membership association in aging and related fields. ASA's 7,500 members comprise a national, multidisciplinary community of those who work with and in behalf of older adults.

National Association of Gay Community Centers
A national directory of gay & lesbian community centers managed by the National Association of Lesbian and Gay Community Centers (NALGBTCC). The NALGBTCC conducts yearly seminars at the Creating Change conferences held annually across the United States.

Partners Task Force for Gay & Lesbian Couples
This site provides extensive information on issues of concern to same-sex couples, including legal marriage and sources of support.

(Parents, Families & Friends of Lesbians and Gays) National organization developed for the needs of parents and friends and their gay & lesbian children.

Straight Spouse Network
An international support network of heterosexual spouses and partners, current or former, of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender mates. Members provide confidential personal support and resource information to spouses and partners nationwide and abroad. SSN is the only support network of its kind in the world.

Pride Senior Network
The Pride Senior Netowrk's mission is to encourage and promote services which foster maximum health, well being, and quality of life for the aging lesbian, gay, bisexual & transgender community through advocacy and education.

A non-discriminating Scouting program. Part of the World Scouting Organization, SFA is not associated with the Boy Scouts of America.

IGLSS: Institute for Gay & Lesbian Strategic Studies
An independent think tank answering questions that affect the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender communities, IGLSS confronts tough issues -- using credible methodology to assure reliable answers. With a mix of scholarly study and rapid-response data on pressing topics, IGLSS fulfills some of the most vital research needs of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender communities, and provides leadership within the movement through informed critical analysis.

National Youth Advocacy Council
Advocates for and with young people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender in an effort to end discrimination against these youth and to ensure their physical and emotional well being through a variety of regional programs.

Rainbow Educator's Network
