A fun study site for students of English as a Second Language. Word games, puzzles, quizzes, slang, proverbs and much more.

Real English Online
Videos guide beginners, intermediates, and more advanced students in a functional and grammatical learning experience through London, New York, San Francisco, Dublin, Atlanta, and dozens of other towns and cities throughout the English-speaking world, especially in the USA. Real English offers free online English videos to help you with your English learning. This ambitious project is excellent for classes and individuals with fast Internet connections. Requires RealPlayer and subscription (free) for a password to use the videos.

Bilingual Educational Resources
A wonderfully animated site providing an array of activities and lessons teaching English and French. This is also a great resource for teachers and parents.

Hou tu pranownse Inglish (How to Pronounce English)
An informative site for foreign learners of English, native speakers who never quite mastered English spelling, spelling reformers who care to understand the system they want to replace and linguists interested in how an inadequate alphabet is manhandled to fit an unruly language.

Randall's ESL Cyber Listening Lab
A well-developed learning site providing audio and video presentations, followed up with a quiz to test comprehension.

Online Writing Lab (OWL)
This writing lab, which has been available through the internet since 1993, includes handouts and materials, workshops and presentations (including PowerPoint), and internet resources. Everything you might need to write successfully.

Wisconsin English as a Second Language Institute
Located in the heart of Madison, this school currently enrolls about 200 students from 40 different countries. It offers individualized instruction with small class sizes. Students have access to over a dozen libraries on the University of Wisconsin campus.

Global Language Institute
Build up your English skills by participating in the English language services provided by GLI for non-English speaking students. There are programs in Minnesota, New York, Massachusetts and Florida - some being conducted at universities for older students, while others are in a camp setting for the youth.
