Religion & Spirituality

Field Notes: What most of us know about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormonism) is that some of their young men serve as missionaries, going door-to-door in pairs, and that they have a tabernacle with a renowned choir in Salt Lake City. Here's the church's official site where you can learn more about their history, beliefs, and practices. Another well-known fact about the LDS church is that its members are required to do genealogical research. As a consequence the Family History Library in Salt Lake City is probably the single most valuable repository of genealogical records with more being added all the time. Salt Lake City is a popular place to visit, not least because of Temple Square. Ever wondered who belongs to the LDS church? Well, here's a list of Famous Mormons.
